What is happening?
Bishop Wilson Church of England School is being totally rebuilt: the same great school, but with brand-new facilities. The school is planned to be built on the site of the current St Patrick's Roman Catholic school.
When it will happen?
St Patrick's RC school is planned to be demolished in 2009, and the plans for Bishop Wilson will be drawn up after this. As Bishop Wilson C of E School is a part of the new Craig Croft Village Centre, the timing of the building of the new school is associated with these developments, but it is hoped that building will be started late in 2009.
How to get involved
We will be working with parents, children and staff on plans for the new schools and find the best location, design and other details for the new school.
